O staff foi sempre espetacular, a localização é perfeita, o pequeno almoço tem escolha suficiente e é de óptima qualidade. O ar condicionado funciona muito bem e é de fácil regulação.

− O vidro no quarto para a casa de banho é na minha opinião super inconveniente, sendo que não existe privacidade nenhuma, o colchão sentia-se um pouco as molas. Na casa de banho o sítio para pendurar as toalhas é extremamente alto.

This hotel holds a special place in my memories, as it used to be a small guesthouse where I spent my childhood holidays. I returned on my birthday, after almost 30 years, hoping to revisit a place that had once meant so much to me. It was lovely to see it again and to discover how the property has changed and evolved over the years. The breakfast was pleasant, with a good variety of options, and the staff were consistently warm, friendly and welcoming.

− The main disappointment was the value for money. The rates felt disproportionately high for the standard of service provided. A four-star hotel creates certain expectations, and although the staff were friendly and pleasant, the service lacked the attention, knowledge and personal care needed to make guests feel genuinely valued. The hotel knew I was celebrating my birthday, but apart from a kind “happy birthday” at reception, there was no small gesture to acknowledge it. I expected nothing elaborate, but a card, a flower or even a piece of fruit would have cost very little while making a meaningful difference. I also asked two members of staff about the hotel’s history and explained my emotional connection to the property, but neither knew whether it was still owned by the same family or when it had been transformed from a guesthouse into a hotel. In hospitality, particularly in a property with a distinctive past, knowing and sharing its story strengthens its identity, creates an emotional connection with guests and can encourage them to return. As I had travelled there on my birthday to revisit a place where I had spent childhood holidays almost 30 years earlier, a little more knowledge and curiosity would have made the experience far more meaningful. There were also several details that did not match the price or four-star rating: a sewage-like smell in the second-floor corridor, only one chair on the balcony of a double room, and a bathrobe that was removed with the towels on the first day and never replaced. None of these issues was serious in isolation, but together they made the stay feel overpriced and left me unconvinced that the experience justified the amount paid.

Muito bem decorado, muito boa qualidade/preço. Quarto bem equipado. Pequeno almoço bastante completo, simpatia do staff. Excelente localização.
