Our favorite place in Portugal! Casa do Valle is a place where we want to return to.
10.0Such a peaceful place, quiet, relaxing. Breakfast is brought to your room, it is very good and enough, you can eat on your balcony. There are no flies or mosquitos, not even at night, we could leave the windows open. It is dark and quiet, you can sleep very well. There is a pool with a view to the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. You can sit or get a sunbed in the garden or ask for a mat and do yoga. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is provided for your car, but there is a train from Lisbon which comes to Sintra, not worth coming by car, the road is very narrow and winding. The city is beautiful, everybody is kind, nice place to walk around, eat well, sit somewhere and relax.
− We had to carry our luggage on some stairs, but it was not so bad. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms, however they are not needed most of the time. The room was a bit small.

Vackert och lugnt, avslappnande ställe med otrolig utsikt och gångavstånd till centrum.
9.0Otroligt vackert med utsikt över palatsen i bergen. Blommor, pool och fruktträd skapar en magisk inramning med bergen i bakgrunden. Rena, bekväma rum och gångavstånd till centrum. Bra med parkering. Tyst ställe så ingen lekpool för barn men skönt med dopp. Trevlig personal.
− Nämns inte vid bokning men ingen lek tillåten i poolen så bra att veta om om man reser med badglada barn.

Late check-in is possible, upon availability and at an extra fee of EUR 20. Late check-in between 18:30 and 21:00 has an additional fee of €20, and late check-in between 21:00 and 00:00 has an additional fee of €30.
Please note that the property is set on a hill-side and the garden grounds are split-level. Therefore there are some garden stairs to access different parts of the property.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
