Great in every aspect and wonderful staff.
10.0The amenities were great (free green tea + coffee + water in the dining hall; snacks that you could purchase for less than ¥250 each; shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom and the onsen; onsen robe + towels). The facilities were very nice (lounge area adjacent to reception + the onsen is private and available for 30-minute periods with a beautiful view of the river and forest). Also, the hotel isn’t far from some key attractions (15-min walk to Toshogu shrine and adjacent shrines, 5-min walk to Kanmangafuchi Abyss). You can purchase breakfast the night before for ¥2000 and it includes three slices of toast, a plate of fruit, a boiled egg, and a free choice of drinks (tea/orange juice/milk) and jams. The staff were very friendly and helpful; I was late checking in because I was stuck on a mountain, but staff were very accommodating AND, most importantly, were so helpful and kind and called emergency services for me because I was struggling to get in contact with them. Because of staff at Turtle Inn, I managed to get down from the mountain safely and enjoyed my night at their hotel. I’m very grateful. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

− Mauvaise organisation de la privatisation du onsen. Pas de tableau de réservation avec le numéro de la chambre apparant. Soit vous descendez plusieurs fois par heure pour savoir si c’est disponible, soit vous faites la queue. Ça gâche le côté relaxant du onsen. Hôtel très isolé.
