Disappointing Experience – Unexpected Charges and Poor Customer Service
1.0The hotel's location in Singapore was convenient. However, unfortunately, my overall experience was very disappointing.
− My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. In addition to the charges shown on Booking.com, the hotel charged me an extra $70. When I arrived, the staff also demanded a $50 deposit, which was an unexpected additional expense. The customer service was very poor. The way guests are treated when asking about payments feels intimidating and unprofessional. The hotel also keeps guests' passports until checkout, which made me uncomfortable. I have stayed at other hotels, but I have never experienced such an uncomfortable check-in process. The deposit policy and the way it was handled were particularly concerning. Furthermore, the room was not properly clean, which made the stay even more disappointing. I strongly recommend that future guests carefully check all additional charges, deposit requirements, and passport-handling policies before booking this hotel. The hotel should be more transparent about its fees, improve its customer service, and maintain proper room cleanliness. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
