Quick overnight stay at a reasonable property with some kinks definitely good value in the summer.
6.0This is an older bare bones motel. It was clean and it looks like it’s maintained. The insulation between rooms is poor. The second floor might be better. Considering the prices and availability of rooms in or around Hamilton, our destination, this was a decent value for a Saturday evening in the summer. It was nice that you could open the window partially for fresh air. There was ample towels, soap, and shampoo. There was a coffee machine, microwave and small fridge. The room was spacious with a sofa in front of t.v.
− The insulation was poor. We were on the ground floor and could hear every move those above us took. Try for an upper level room. Even before I cracked the window open, the outside traffic was a bit loud. I wanted to get some ice for my water at checkout (7AM) but the door to the office was locked. The plumbing sounds from other rooms was quite loud.

1.0High ceilings. Hot water. Clean.
− Horrible food!!! Moldy cheesecake, NOT molten lava cake (Bundt cake with chocolate syrup), old peanut butter pie… clearly past serving date- still got charged full price! Inconsistent food quality and serving proportions, one day a large to go cup for onion soup, next day, tiny one. Staff made more excuses and never rectified the issues. 0/10 recommend.
Disappointed woth food, service and hospitality.
1.0Second floor, high ceilings, hot water. Late check out at 2PM
− This was my 3rd stay here and ultra disappointed. Am not likely to go back again. Phones in room do not work. No internet access. A/C smelled moldy, signs up that say you’ll be charged for missing linens. No services from restaurant close at night until 11:30AM. So don’t have an early morning need, it will not be fulfilled. Toilet was clogged and took over 8 hours to find someone to fix it,…. The house keeper said I could have a plunger. 😳 I told her, I preferred maintenance did it, she scowled and scurried off without a word and never let me know it was completed. Fire alarms went off in the middle of the night, house keeper lives on site and was constantly smoking with her hand coming from inside her room that clearly read, no smoking in rooms. Loud guests early in the morning screaming.
