Things are only getting better under the new JAZ brand and management. The entertainment & animation team are especially great at what they do. The renovated buildings and rooms are as described. They have an amazing coral reef perfect for snorkeling. The fitness center was good. All staff from Reception to Housekeeping are more than excited to offer help. Great stay!

Die Unterkunft ist zT bereits renoviert, vorraussichtlich im Juni 26 wird das Hotel geschlossen und es erfolgt die 2. Umbauphase, die restlichen Zimmer werden renoviert. Zudem wird das ganze Pooldeck, die Gehwege und viel mehr erneuert. Man kann sich also freuen!

Very nice stay with great food and location

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent. The sea is in a beautiful bay with a very gentle entrance to the water, which makes swimming very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. When we arrived, we were given a free room upgrade and were even offered to choose the floor we preferred, which was a very nice gesture. The food was amazing, very tasty and with a big variety. Everything was beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was very fast and almost invisible; the waiters worked very professionally. There were different kinds of meat, and at breakfast a chef cooks eggs exactly the way you like them. Honestly, it is hard to imagine what else could be added to the menu, there was already so much choice. Our room was clean, with a balcony and a pool view. From most rooms in the buildings facing the pool you can also see the sea, which is very nice. There is also a beach bag and beach towels in the room, which is very convenient for going to the beach. Wi-Fi works well throughout the entire hotel area, including the beach. This is not our first time staying at a hotel from this chain, and compared to other hotels we visited in Hurgada before, this is definitely one of the best.

− The only small downside, and the reason why we did not give a 10, was that the plumbing in the room felt a bit outdated and the door lock sometimes got stuck. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovation, so it is very possible that the building we stayed in will be renovated soon and this issue will disappear.

Would have liked to watch better variety of shows. More pharaonic dances along with belly dancing.

Fantastic location in a calm bay. Well tendered gardens and very clean generally. A good range of facilities. Ability to book a la carte restaurants twice a week.

− The hotel is under new management as of October and is experiencing a period of change. So far the changes result in decreasing the services provided, including removing access to bottled water on the beach and closing an excellent local specialty lunch outlet. I hope there will be positive developments as well. The closure of the disco (permanently?) which kept a lot of people awake until 2am is a plus. The cancellation of the morning volleyball slot is a minus as well, which also resulted in far too many animators turning up for the afternoon slot and taking up the spaces, making guests wait their turn.

The room was very nice and got a good rate. I tried to add a night, but the rate more than doubled. Property itself was nice enough. It was very difficult to get a lounge at the beach. The food was just OK. Had a couple mixed drinks at the bar and they were not good at all. Who knew Sprite and Fanta went into a mai tai. I’d consider trying the royal next-door next time.
