Nice b and b but don’t expect a country house.

− Not quite what I was expecting Country House is a bit misleading. No staff or other customers were there when we arrived. Breakfast was extra. I won’t argue that I thought I had booked breakfast as maybe I hadn’t. But it is something I ensure is offered at the time of booking.

7.0A pretty house with big grounds, plenty of parking and comfortable bedrooms - the bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in.
− We couldn’t have dinner at the property, apparently because we were the only guests, although others arrived late in the night. We had to specifically request breakfast, which was a bit unusual. Sharon who cooked us breakfast was a sweetheart. We couldn’t have morning showers either, as the water was either very cold or too hot to tolerate. It seems that the property is mainly a venue for events and perhaps the hotel part is a sideline?
