My stay at this Holiday Inn Express did not meet my expectations of a pleasant or comforting stay.
5.0It’s location was very good.
− I reached out twice to housekeeping and asked if they could service my room and nothing was done.
Room wasn’t ready. Couldn’t tell me when it would be. Said it had been quite a day. Got on elevator and door wouldn’t cl
4.0− Two hour delay past checkin time. Had to sit around . It was 111 outside. Elevator was scary. Door wouldn’t close and made loud noises. Had to keep walkin* up and down three flights of stairs.
Front desk rep was the worst part of my stay.
3.0Comfortable Hotel.
− Older Caucasian woman with intense frowning lip lines who checked me in was so rude. If I hadn't prepaid, I would have just walked out and found another hotel. Also, in 41 years, Ive never had a staff member (same lady), knock on ky door prior to check out (10:50 am for an 11am checkout) and ask if I was still leaving.

1.0I didn't stay .my booking wasn't valid and you took my money after calling the hotel for confirmation I was told I wasn't booked. After giving them my reference also I was told they don't have that reference

− The elevator, just an overall old hotel

3.0Location
− They were fixing the pipes so there was no running water when I got there, when it came back on it ran dirty water (I took pictures and a video). The elevator makes terrible sounds and jerks like the cable will break any minute.
