Overall very nice
6.0The room was nice. There is a step into the kitchen area that is not marked and easy to trip on. There was a drill left in our room and when I took it to the front desk the employee was a little rude and was upset I didn't bring it to her attention right away. Overall nice place to stay, very quiet and clean.
Solo trip in Miwaukee
8.0Very friendly service. Good location, less than 5 min-walk to the lake. No noise, quiet and comfortable. Retro atmosphere. Not very clean...there are hairs in the bathroom and the kitchen has a oily smell.

Perfect for my needs
10.0I loved staying here. The staff were very accommodating. The room was more than adequate, local to lots of great things to do. It even has a great restaurant. Baird center is a quick 8 minute drive if youre here for a convention. If I come back to Milwaukee I would easily stay here again.
Absolutely terrible
2.0Was not a great experience, not only did we not get the room advertised on Hotels.com but our room was absolutely filthy so they had to switch us rooms, which was a complete downgrade from our first room and the farthest room possibly from the elevator and blinds and kitchen cabinets were broken, then absolutely no water pressure but that didn't really matter because we were unable to shower due to the water either being too hot or too cold there was no middle, also had to go down to lobby multiple times to have them help us get into our room because keys and doors are so old the keys didn't really work, all together just an awful experience and we will never be back to The Knickerbocker on the Lake in Milwaukee
