8.0Quietness of the surroundings
− Nobody answered the phone when we first arrived, directions on how to find the lodge was poor, maybe they should have a location map erected to inform exactly where the lodges are. No information handy of places to visit or walks in the surrounding areas
Perfect for peace
10.0This was our second visit to The Chilterns View, 10 years later! It was just as lovely as the first time we visited. Beautiful setting. Very nice lodge with almost everything you would need for a break away. We were the only ones on site so incredibly peaceful.

5.0Staff where lovely and helpful with suggestions on where to go. We never ever should’ve been allowed to stay in the conditions we tried getting refunded for a our second night at least but we’re flat out told no.
− the lodge is not a lodge it is a tent in a field, we got a very bad weekend for it, with gale force winds it was genuinely unfit to stay in and we ended up having to drive home at 1am. We should’ve been advised to not come due to weather and the conditions, everything outside the “lodge” basically blew away the swing was upside down the furniture was half way across the field. The fire wouldn’t stay on for longer than ten minutes, we slept the second night with all our clothes on it was honestly a shambles. Couldn’t get water for a bath either. We came away for a relaxing weekend it was a shambles.

10.0The peace, the view, the wildlife, the hot tub, the hammock, the privacy, the owner. The village shop, access to Oxford and surrounding areas. All in all a perfect getaway.
− N/A - loved everything
