10.0Everything was excellent from the welcome at reception, the service was impeccable. As always.
Weekend in Geneva
6.0The hotel is well located in the city center. The room we booked (superior room/king size bed for 2 nights) was not very pleasant for a hotel of this standard. As usual with Four seasons the staff is supposed to make you feel special and this was not really the case this time. For example, as we returned a bottle of champagne as we don't drink alcohol, we were offered to tiny chocolate tarts of the size an amuse bouche. With respect to food, there is also room for improvement here. The Italian restaurant is a one Michelin star restaurant and the setting is very nice. That being said, you can't charge 40 francs for 3 small asparagus as a starter. This is not acceptable. We also went to the bar the following day and ordered a ceasar salad. A huge amount of salad but unfortunately only a handful of slices of chicken. All the above may be seen as details, but they are not when you pay CHF 1600/night. On a more positive note, the breakfast is outstanding.
