Rome was absoluut fantastisch! Locatie appartement super. Opfrisbeurt/hygiene-slag in app nodig.
4.0Super locatie, midden in de stad. Alles was met de voet goed te bereiken. Host was erg meewerkend in aanloop naar onze trip en flexibel met inchecken; tussentijds is het appartement zelfs nog een x opgeruimd. Bij uitchecken ook prettig contact. Ook bij vragen over bijvoorbeeld taxi vervoer was er snelle respons.
− Bij entree van het appartement hing een hele nare geur, waarschijnlijk samenhangend met de afzuigkap / de keuken. Dit was niet prettig, en werd niet beter gedurende het verblijf. De douche cabine was niet schoon / fris. Weinig beddengoed (alleen een laken), en het extra dekbed dat de kinderen in een kast vonden was vies met allerlei vlekken. Er was geen dekbed overtrek om eromheen te doen. Dus met name vervelende geur in het appartement, geen goede manier om te luchten (boven kan het raam helemaal niet open), en hygiene die echt niet optimaal was. Al met al is dit reden om niet terug te komen.

− This is the message I sent to the owner I am writing to inform you that I am leaving the apartment before the end of my booking due to the unsatisfactory condition of the property, which falls significantly below the standard I was led to expect from the photographs on Booking.com. My concerns are as follows: * Difficult access: Reaching the apartment involves complicated access and stairs, which were not disclosed to me beforehand. * Poor flooring condition: The floors throughout the apartment are heavily scratched, with multiple cracks and poorly finished grouting. This raises concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. * Poor condition of the furniture: The dining table is chipped, the TV table is discoloured and requires refurbishment, the sofa is old and in poor condition, and the bed is extremely uncomfortable. * Cramped and uncomfortable environment: The low ceiling and very small porthole windows make the apartment feel confined and quite different from the impression created by the photographs. I have also asked you about the checkout procedure but have received no response. Given these circumstances, I have decided to leave the apartment now. As I have not received checkout instructions, I will leave the keys in the door, exactly as I found them. I am documenting these concerns here for the record and would appreciate your acknowledgement of this message. Regards

8.0Nous avons pu déposer nos bagages à notre arrivée avant la réception de l'appartement situé au 4 ieme étage avec ascenseur. L'emplacement est idéal à deux pas de la place d'Espagne dans une rue piétonne mais calme. L'appartement est agréable mais sans terrasse (cela dépend de celui qui nous est attribué) ce qui ne nous a pas dérangé en cette saison. Literie confortable, bien équipé et très propre.
− Des petits détails à améliorer dans la kitchenette, il manque des mugs pour les amateurs de thé le matin et le nombre de verres à eau et petites cuillères est un peu juste (2 seulement...). Le tuyau de la douche doit être aussi changé. Il manque un éclairage de chevet pour lire dans la chambre.

8.0The apartment was spacious and clean and the location is unbeatable. Right on the Via del Corso and 3 mins away form the Spanish Steps (basically all historic centre of Rome is within walking distance). Plenty of great restaurants around.
− Communication with the host was basically non existent. No message that I sent was ever answered. 45 minutes before your check-in you eventually get a short video with instructions, and a one-off code to access the facility - that's all. A set of keys will wait you in the room's lock. If you are the type of person who would appreciate a bit of reassurance before you arrive then perhaps you might want to think twice before booking here. And the terrace shown in the pictures might belong to another apartment - so if you really want to have that as well, make sure you are clear and intentional about it.

Bed linen and towel change and cleaning are performed once a week. More frequent changes and cleaning are at extra costs.
