A charming getaway with a nostalgic feel that invited a much-needed slower pace of life!
10.0The decor of the charming location, with it's clean interiors were excellent! The rooms were well furnished. The breakfast was phenomenal and the host was the best to interact with! Such an excellent stay!
− If there was a flaw, it might have been a slightly uncomfortable bed. However, my discomfort might have been more of a poor diet and lack of stretching. The place is not to blame.

The location was great for touring historical sites in Nauvoo.
8.0Beautiful home furnished and decorated from the early 1900s. Getting breakfast was nice.
− The thermostat for the heater was in the library and seemed to work some and not work some.
Lovely Victorian Bed and Breakfast with an attentive hostess and great breakfast.
8.0Laurie was a great hostess and we really liked both our breakfasts. We also like the selection of hot beverages that were available anytime we wanted.
− There was a fly problem in the attic where we stayed. Laurie helped us with trying to get rid of them. We believe it was just a time of year problem. Also the temperature control in the attic was very touchy. The air conditioning was extremely cold no matter what the thermostat was set at and then when it turned cold our last day and we turned on heat and it was too hot.
