The balcony

− Felt unsafe walking through a small shared corridor to get to your room door. Especially for a round female travelling alone. I walked out of my room and there were 2 males in the hallway as soon as I’d opened my room door - was a little scary.

The motel checked me in at 2pm took depoist and as they handed me keys told me there was no power till 6 pm my phone was

− Rooms are not what they are advertised as

Convenient location, well appointed and equipped, but badly spoiled by the smell.

Well equipped, even had a washing machine and dryer.

− The room totally STANK of stale cigarettes. A cloying pong so strong it felt unclean. It reminded me of 1970s pubs and grossed me out. The carpets, drapes and furnishing need to be cleaned and aired. Unacceptable in this age.

− I got given a disabled room. I'm not disabled. I don't like an open bathroom with a shower curtain, water gets everywhere and there is no way to mop up the water. Water damage in the doors frame of bathroom. No teaspoons in the room, it has a kitchen. Aircon is taped together.

− Our stay was unacceptable from start to finish. We discovered what appeared to be blood stains on the bed linen, raising serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. Even more concerning was the complete lack of security. Late at night, a woman somehow gained access to the locked entry area outside our room. She spent over an hour screaming, banging on doors, and attempting to get into rooms. We were so frightened that we locked ourselves in the bathroom and called the police. We did not sleep for the rest of the night and ended up leaving in the early hours of the morning because we no longer felt safe. To make matters worse, I emailed the hotel immediately after our stay and followed up with a phone call, yet I have received no response whatsoever. The complete lack of acknowledgment or concern from management about such serious hygiene and safety issues is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here.

Nothing it was horrible and dirty

− Everything in the room was dirty, arrived late 830pm made to wait on hold for 30 mins in the freezing cold outside for someone to answer my call. Room was dirty had rubbish left from previous guest, shower had hair all through it. Couch was ripped, warn and filthy. Worst place I’ve stayed in I was only there for 7 hours felt very unsafe as I was there by myself Had to leave a $200 deposit for 7 hours over the phone they were more interested in the money Do not recommend at all
