Overpriced and below standard breakfast and amenities
3.0Nothing. The name is misleading. It's not anywhere near Portland.
− The breakfast was decent, but no bacon was a big let down. The hot tub is out of order indefinitely. I couldn't switch to a different location in actual Portland in the same chain. Manager not around so couldn't cancel or get refund. Booked this location by mistake, wanted the one in Portland. No real help available despite also going through booking.com customer service. Everyone I asked for help to change location threw up their hands and said "third party app"and blamed their systems for being inadequate". I got tossed back and forth between hotel front desk and booking.com customer service. If staying in Vancouver, other hotels like Best Western nearby are half the price with working hot tubs and closet to better restaurants. As a Hilton rewards member and a loyal booking.com user, this was an expensive disappointment. 60 cab ride from downtown Portland just to get to this hotel. "Portland" is a real misnomer.
I will never book with this site again!
2.0− Our office booked it for an employee. Our employee was asked for the credit card used to book. He told them to charge the card on file and was told that it was not possible. This resulted in Chaos.
Delightful!
9.0It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was excellent!
− Pillows were all too soft and no where to charge USB, but those are minor issues.

6.0The staff were friendly. The buffet was nice ( I enjoyed the oatmeal & almond milk). And the room was nice.
− We shouldn't have had to pay for parking after already spending so much. I didn't know about this added fee. The pool was very dirty.
Very disappointed, we had been looking forward to this
3.0The employees were nice and they did offer plenty options for breakfast
− We had trouble checking in. We were not told when booking that there would be construction going on in the hallway and being woken up by the workers scraping the floors and vacuuming the dust from the carpet they were pulling. Had an employee, Im assuming housekeeping open are door two hours before check out time, which I had gone back to sleep and my 9 yr old was in there with me and someone opened our door. Scared both of us. If they had knocked we couldn't hear due to all the noise in the hallway. Had we known this information prior to booking, we wouldn't have booked where they were going to be tearing up carpet and have all the noise starting in the morning. As far as the room, walking in it looked descent, but as soon as my daughter and I each sat on each of the beds, they scooted, felt like they weren't very sturdy, just kind of odd. The shower head had no pressure, so rinsing was a pain. I'm glad we brought our own blankets cause the blankets were itchy material and just not pleasant. It just overall was not a good experience, Also the parking fee is comical to me. I pay to stay at hotel, where should I park my vehicle? I would think in the parking lot of where I'm staying, so to be told I was going to be charged to park there is just absurd. Will never stay there again. Unsure about booking through third party as well, some of the information should have been in the booking information. Construction going on is a big thing to inform guest about prior to them showing up and being told.............................
great experience, would definately stay again.
9.0Great variety of breakfast options however the gravy for the biscuits was extremely watery and lacked any flavor. Room size was great, pool area was awesome.
− The gravy at breakfast. A complimentary tooth brush would have been nice as I realized quickly I forgot to pack mine.
