7.0The good: It was good value for money. It was clean and tidy. The bed was super comfy. Air con and TV worked. Was pleasantly surprised to have a microwave also. I only needed a place to crash each night for 5 nights for a conference and it worked well for this purpose. It was conveniently located to the conference location and an easy and flat walk from the Oakleigh Train Station.
− Being on Dandenong Road meant hearing the traffic into the wee hours of the morning. I had read reviews saying the motel was quiet - and inside the motel itself it was very quiet - but the road noise from outside was quite loud and kept me awake. If traffic noise bothers you, ask for a room at the back or don’t risk it and stay somewhere else.

− No electric blankets especially for winter and just looking around the outdoors area everything looked older than me and falling apart

− No door to the toilet/bathroom, which faces the bed. The carpet was filthy. Wall socket for kettle and fridge was hanging of the wall
Could be better.
