It was a great experience for me and my family. The food was delicious, fantastic and affordable. The area is superb and the staff were very accommodating. Highly recommended for all even for staycation.

We had great time having our pool time activity with my husband, niece and nephews. The water is clean and i appreciate the assistance i got from the staff that made our time very relaxing and enoyable.

I really can’t understand any positive review for this place. Currently stopping here. I’m sure this hotel was ok 20yrs ago but it’s so run down. We paid for a water front villa, it was that bad with the smell and noise from a generator we down graded to pool access room, also really dated and have issue with excessive moisture. The villas need updating and the walk ways look like they will collapse at any moment. the walk from the villa is a long one and take time with little legs. The service… terrible. 20minutes to get anything. Food, well below average. Breakfast, ants in the cereal, coffee machine just gives you warm milk. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

Princess Garden Island Resort and Spa is a very nice place to relax, with several extremely overpriced amenities. For the most part, the staff was extremely courteous and professional. However, we did experience a few oddities. There are some excursions that require anywhere from 1-3 hours transportation time getting there and back. However, even when we tried to book our island hopping excursion one day in advance, the hotel staff was either unwilling or unable to accommodate us because we supposedly needed to “plan ahead.” We ended up simply going out to the sand-bar, which is located withing walking distance on the property, and requires an on-duty life guard. I can not say enough good things about the life guards. They were amazing in every way. After having enjoyed a nice dinner at the Tomato and Basil restaurant, we decided that we wanted to spend a few hours at the karaoke lounge. But instead of enjoying the rest of the evening in song, the experience made us all rather pissed off. When we approached the staff worker about the karaoke lounge, we were informed that we would not be allowed to use the lounge unless we first purchase a rather large quantity of food to bring with us into the room. Never mind the fact that WE JUST ATE!!! Now we had to purchase MORE FOOD (which was prepared at the SAME RESTAURANT where we first had our dinner), just so we could sing a few karaoke songs. Additionally, the entire karaoke set up was small and weak. It was almost impossible to balance the microphone volume with the sound system – and the reverb was overpowering, annoying, and nearly impossible to adjust. The instrumental accompaniment tracks are extremely poor quality. And there were SEVERAL songs that we simply could not find! Our hotel room was very tidy and clean, although they COULD be a little more generous with the bath towels! I found some exposed wiring that should never pass building code (if there are any). That is clearly not the type of thing you expect to see at a so called “5-star” resort. The water pressure for the shower was amazing. All the restaurants have an impressive variety of menu items. Without exception, everything was expertly prepared and served. Even the breakfast buffet (which is included in the price of the room) was a nice experience.

Fine stay but not great value for money

- slow in responding during your booking. - No warm welcome for ordinary or local guest. Not looking for it, but I just compared to the same level of resort we visited. - you need to call 3x for the room service before they attend to your request. - lack of guest assistance during check out specifically loading your luggage. - we booked in a double pool room but the pool is not so clean - overall experience was fine but not what we expected for the price. I believed its either the resort is under staff or lack of hospitality trainings
