6.0Four Stars? Well marble finishes in a tiny bathroom does not make a 4 star hotel! 'Double Room' they must have counted the balcoy in the SF! We literally could not pass each other at the foot of the bed *minus one Hallways - carpet smelled in all the hallways. Looked as old as me and I was born in 1961! *minus one Room carpet, almost as bad - *minus .5 Breakfast was nice, real eggs to orde, so *plus .5 At most 3 stars, but for $365 per night, way overpriced just to have a view of the lake!

8.0The location is fantastic. Rooms are very small but that’s fine if only there for a couple of days. Very convenient for the ferry to visit many different towns on the lake.

One night was plenty
6.0Except for the location which is right next to Lake Como, there is not much reason left to select this hotel. Old, very small rooms (once your suitcase is on the floor - and that’s where it will need to be - you’ll need to hop over it to reach the window), even smaller bathrooms (if you are taller than 1,85m you’ll have a hard time taking a shower). Our room was described as having a “balcony” which was a 30cm wide extension of the window, no room to sit. The carpet in our floor was showing its many decades of use; stains, smells and simply not a place I’d walk barefoot. I wish I could have anything positive to say about the room but I don’t. We paid for 2 nights as booked, but ended up staying only 1. The staff was friendly and the dinner was tasty.

8.0Location location location our balcony view of lake como was outstanding. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very small my knees were under the sink to sit down. Tv did not work the whole time we were there they tried to fix it but only one channel. The staff more than makes up for any negatives. Parking is 600 yards away but secure
