Wonderful Weekend in York
6.0Location & friendly staff especially young man who served breakfast. Comfy beds.
− No WiFi. Loud noises when flushed loo. Sounded like noises in pipework. Damp marks up above window.
Will not stay there again.
4.0The staff were very accommodating and very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent.
− The bathroom did not looked to have been cleaned properly. No toilet roll on arrival. Dirty tissue left down the side of the toilet from a previous guest. Extremely hot evening and could not open window and no air conditioning or fan.
Great central place to stay in York.
7.0The staff were excellent,very welcoming, and the location was great, right in the centre of everything. The breakfast was delicious. We opted for a quick breakfast as we were booked for a history tour, but 5 stars to whoever made my bacon sarnie, the best one I've had in a long time. Wish we had more time for the full english. The beds were really comfy. Plenty tea and coffee, making supplies and towels.

7.0Location. Bedding immaculate. Towels immaculate and soft. Breakfast lovely. Staff excellent, welcoming, friendly and very helpful.
− Really bad, blackened grout in bathroom and badly maintained. All walls in bedroom were badly marked and gave the impression of the room being dirty and unkempt. It needs refurbishment.

− Not a good place to stay if you have mobility issues as the stairs can be an issue especially if your room is at the top of the property .

On Friday and Saturday nights, we have karaoke and live music events. The pub is licensed until 1am.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
