1.0− We hadden geboekt en betaald voor 5 personen, in de verwachting dat we ook daadwerkelijk een kamer met 5 slaapplekken zouden krijgen. Belangrijk om te vermelden is dat dit een van de weinige hotels was waarbij tijdens het boeken duidelijk beschikbaarheid voor 5 personen in één kamer werd weergegeven. We hebben deze maand in meerdere andere hotels verbleven en daar werd altijd een oplossing geboden voor de 5e persoon, zoals een slaapbank of een extra bed. Bij aankomst bleek echter dat er geen slaapmogelijkheid was voor de 5e persoon. Het hotelpersoneel wilde hier niets aan doen en dacht totaal niet mee over een oplossing. We werden simpelweg doorverwezen naar Booking.com. Booking.com heeft ons vervolgens netjes te woord gestaan en meerdere keren geprobeerd te bemiddelen, maar het hotelpersoneel reageerde onbeschoft en kortaf, gaf aan geen oplossing te hebben en zei letterlijk dat we “maar iets anders hadden moeten boeken”. Daarna werden telefoontjes vanuit Booking.com zelfs genegeerd. Daarnaast was het personeel vaak niet aanwezig bij de balie en daardoor moeilijk te vinden wanneer we hulp nodig hadden. Al met al een erg teleurstellende ervaring, vooral door de slechte service en het gebrek aan klantvriendelijkheid vanuit het hotel.
