8.0The hotel is beautiful, with lovely grounds, spacious rooms, and a comfortable bed/sofa. The food in the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was delicious. We had a good stay, but there were quite a few negative points. Service was very slow in general in the restaurant and my breakfast was forgotten about entirely. No milk is provided for tea in the rooms, which is frustrating after a long drive! I had also requested a twin room, but was given a double instead with no notification. Staff were generally helpful, despite these downsides, and we had a nice stay overall.
