− The property can do with more maintenance work, power was cut off on two occasions during the stay and we had to be relocated to a different room, visible wear and tear to the room, floor was dirty. Good customer service overall

2.0The service staff were very good. They were very friendly and helpful. Location of the place was very convenient and accessible to 北京路 walking street.
− By far the worst stay in China since we started our annual trips to different cities in China in 2024. While spacious, the room was lacking in cleanliness. Throughout our stay, there were multiple occasions when we encountered cockroaches even after the staff has done pest control for the room. Floor was mildly sticky even after housekeeping. We had to keep our indoor slippers on at all times when we were in the room. There was a slight, but constant, unpleasant odour in the fridge. The room is rather old and in dire need of repairs/renovation. The bottom of the kitchen cabinets were coming off. There was mould on most of the grouting in the toilet. Some of the grouting was falling off. Aircon controllers are attached to the wall. You would have to walk down the steep steps in the middle of the night if you need to adjust the temperature. The apartment is housed in a huge building, which comprises of a mall, cinema, restaurant and other services such as massage parlours. We were housed on the same level as a massage parlour. All lifts were shared within the mall which did not seem secure as any members of the public could just take the lift up. The lifts system was complicated and slow. There were 6 lifts (from 2 different lobbies) serving the entire building. There were occasions we had to wait up to 10mins just for a lift to arrive at our level. Level 1-7 of the building appeared to be a mall but most of the levels were inaccessible and appeared to be under renovation. The hotel "reception" was a narrow area housed together with a minimart. There was no proper area for baggage storage. Any baggage requiring storage was place by the open area on the road next to the hotel "reception".
