10.0I stayed here for 8 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing!! They were all super friendly and very helpful with anything that I needed. This is not the place to be if you’re looking for a party, but if you want a nice, quiet place to relax, I would highly recommend it.

8.0Freshly remodeled after suffering hurricane damage. Staff was very available and polite. Room and actual facilities were excellent Please bear in mind. This is a very smoker friendly hotel. Smoking is allowed in the pool area, common areas as well as private balconies. As a non-smoker, this could be very overwhelming.

10.0I've stayed at many beach hotels over the years since I've lived Florida my whole life and this is hands down the nicest one I have ever stayed at. The employees go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The pool area has everything you need including a grill and bar. Its located steps from the beach and in a nice area.I also really liked all the little decorative touches all around the hotel. If you're looking to support a family owned and outstanding hotel this is it. Island House Resort Hotel is now my go to beach hotel on the Gulf.
