Super locatie, en super lekker eten!
10.0Wat een geweldige plek is dit! Midden in het reservaat Grietjie dus de wilde dieren lopen echt letterlijk door de Lodge heen. Ook komen de olifanten (als je gelukt hebt) ‘s ochtends drinken bij het zwembad, het eten is echt super goed en heel gevarieerd. En de game drives werden super leuk verzorgt door onze guide Mbuzzi, hij deed er echt alles aan om ervoor te zorgen dat we zoveel mogelijk dieren zagen echt een aanrader!
− Jammer dat de lunch niet bij de prijs zit inbegrepen, want je kan niet even snel naar een supermarkt.
Außergewöhnlicher Game Drive
9.0Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in einem privaten Game Reserve. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der einige Geschichten über den "Bush" in den von ihm teilweise selbst durchgeführten Game Drives erzählen kann. Dies hat den Game Drive (neben einer Sichtung eines männlichen Löwen bei Nacht) zu einem außergewöhnlichen Ereignis gemacht. Das Essen ist uns besonders positiv in Erinnerung geblieben.
− Leider hatten wir kein Glück und die Elefanten sind während unseres 2-tägigen Aufenthalts nicht am hoteleigenen Pool vorbeigekommen. Insgesamt müssen wir einen Punkt abziehen für das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, welches aus unserer Sicht zu hoch angesetzt ist (auch im Vergleich zu Unterkünften, die wir auf anderen Reisen besucht haben).

Mit Elefanten am Pool
7.0Die Elefanten kamen täglich zum Pool um sich dort eine Erfrischung zu holen und das Essen war sehr gut und lecker.
− Die Lodge ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Mit etwas mehr Pflege, besonders der Außenanlage und z.B. Polstern auf den Liegen am Pool, Erneuerung der kaputten Loungepolstern usw. könnte die Lodge deutlich aufgewertet werden.
