7.0The property is located nicely where we needed to be
− I didn’t like that when you stay two days, nobody comes in to fix your room up or bring your new towels. You pretty much were on your own in the house.
No-frills historic Inn with practical amenities and wonderfully responsive & helpful hosts
9.0This is an ideal location, right on the main town common strip of Chester: across from small shops and restaurants, and a few buildings over from the historical museum and a lovely 1 mile loop hike behind a town cemetery. The parking is super easy and the room quite comfortable. I loved having the feeling we were entering an old home and not an Inn. The staff is spectacular and even arranged us to be able to enter early to be able to catch the start of the final of the World Cup! Note: fridge and microwave as well as coffee/tea maker provided. Front of Inn has rocking chairs for guests to use.
− There is some road noise starting around 5am, but the Innkeepers kindly left ear plugs for visitors to use.
