Nice onsen experience but facility is in need of renovation
6.0Breakfast was lovely and hotel grounds are beautiful. Futon beds on tatami mats were comfortable. The onsen experience was enjoyable and my favorite part of the stay.
− As a family of 4, we were cramped in the apartment room; I thought we would have a little more space. The facility was located in a beautiful setting but is in need of upgrade. For example, hallway carpets are really worn and there was dry rot wood in the hot tubs. Non-operational kid area should be removed from the lobby as it gives the appearance of clutter.

8.0Very large and comfortable room with a big deck and nice views of the mountains. . We enjoyed having so much space in our room! Very nice onsen! Lovely dinner and breakfast. Nice property. Easy walk to the train station. Great base to explore Nikko and nearby hiking trails. Friendly staff. Would recommend if you are considering a visit to Nikko, only a short and scenic train ride the next valley over (you can use your World Heritage Pass to ride the train with no extra charge)

9.0Spacious room with twin beds and nice view. Dinner was delicious. Staff are friendly and could speak mandarin.
