Good view
6.0It's a lovely looking motel from the outside. However, a bit different inside the bathroom was very small. Some mould around the shower door and ceiling, and there is no fan in the bathroom . At night, the room was bright due to outside light. I don't sleep well, so the room was bright. Good view from the balcony. However, the air con leaked from upstairs, making balcony slippy. Easy walk location into town .
So disappointed
4.0Booked a 2 bedroom with sea views. What we got was a tired bland unit shoved away in a corner on the ground floor. The only views were between parked cars from outside the unit with no outside chairs or table and long grass. The toilet only flushed when it felt like it and there was little hot water. It took a full 5 mins to get enough for a shower! Definitely felt cheated and wouldn’t stay again. Aldo very confused check-in with reception in neighbouring hotel.
Was nice to have a spa bath in the room and plenty of space. The view however was dumb and not beach front at all.
4.0In general the room was ok, the bathroom floors could definitely use a scrub. The main reason for giving it a 2 was because we booked a beach front room. The info as I was booking, said beach front and we were all very excited to have the view of Marine parade. However we were at the back of the motel and our view was the motel across the road! This was 1000% heart breaking.
Do not stay here
2.0The worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. The beds are hard and uncomfortable, the motel is tired and run-down and not particularly clean, the shower leaks under the door, flooding the bathroom and making the floor extremely slippery, the hot water is scalding hot and the motel is noisy (the suspected prostitutes in the room above probably didn't help with the noise though). And it's not exactly cheap to stay here. Definitely not worth the money. I don't recommend staying here.
Mouldy
2.0We stayed in a ground floor room and immediately upon opening the door were hit with the distinctive odour of mould/mildew. Absolutely reeked to the point our clothing later smelt of it. The spa bath is right near the carpet and the carpet has clearly rotted from the water. Probably a health hazard to be honest. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
