If you enjoy listening to thumping bass music from the next door hotel as you relax by the lovely pool, or observe the birds swooping over the gently flowing, idyllic Volta, then this is the place for you. Likewise if you enjoy having to shout at your family or the waiting staff to make yourself heard over the cacophony that is the mealtime musical 'entertainment', then this hotel will meet your needs very well. Furthermore, if you enjoy having your patience exercised whilst questioning why you paid so much for the hotel, then the 90 - 120 minute wait for a meal from the a la carte menu will give you ample opportunity, as you cower down by the river to escape the noise, bitterly regretting forgetting to pack your noise cancelling headphones, you will love it here. All of the above I experienced over the Easter weekend. It would appear that as well as being at capacity for overnight guests, the hotel opens its doors to any number of day visitors, which swell the numbers looking to eat way beyond the capacity of the restaurant and waiting staff, leading to long delays, food served cold, tables not getting cleared and rubbish lying on the floor for extended periods as there is no one to clear up. On the positive side, the setting is fantastic, noise aside - seriously consider noise cancelling headphones if you are thinking of staying. The staff are generally professional and courteous and the rooms are well appointed. There were several issues with our room, but once reported they were rectified pretty much straight away. And when I asked to speak to the management on departure, the individual I spoke to was considerate of the issues we had experienced, but it was obvious that the complaints we had made during the stay had not reached management level despite engaging frequently with various levels of staff. By all means go ahead and book a stay here, but be prepared!!

Great place. Bad food and service. Come, but bring your own food... otherwise you'll stay hungry sarvice is POOR. you can wait more then 3 hours to recive your order at the Pool Bar.

3 day Management retreat

Service was generally very good with the exception of the conference services. It was expected that during the break for lunch, the conference room would be cleared of empty water bottles and replaced with fresh water, and maybe refill also the sweet bowls.

Serene Escape

After a tough day with car troubles during the trip, I arrived feeling drained, but the resort's warm hospitality worked wonders! The excellent service, delicious food, and peaceful surroundings were the perfect antidote to my fatigue. The live band's soothing music in the background and the desperate cry for attention by the peacocks was the icing on the cake – it truly rejuvenated me. A wonderful getaway that must be experienced
