9.0This is a piece of paradise! You just need to get into the laid back rythm of Isla Grande. It strikes a good balance between giving a remote island vibe, but being close enough to Abraao town for convenience. The hourly boat is super convenient, we just asked at the counter in town and always got a lift. Also an easy walk to town, just not at high tide. Staff were patient with us not speaking Portugese and we managed 😀 We ate at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed it (after realising everything is in fact for two people.) Ilha Grande was an absolute highlight of our trip to Brazil.
Nice location and staff, bad rooms
5.0the location is lovely, private beach, breakfast was lovely continental with nice breads, meat, fruit. Staff were friendly and helpful.
− We had 2 rooms, one room smelt of mould really badly. Both rooms were so damp to the point that everything in our luggage smelt and had to be washed when we went to our next place. The beds felt damp. The wifi advertised doesn't really work in the rooms, only in the restaurant. The rooms have a rusty fridge and very very basic in general. It's a shame because if the rooms were sorted then it would be a nice place. The boat is free and goes every hour but it is a complete pain to always have to wait to get across and if you go over also having to wait. There are no sunbeds only some white plastic chairs.

10.0Excelente ubicación. Todo el personal siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Traslado en bote a Abraao a cada hora. Muy buena atención.
