The island was just gorgeous, it was an oasis after the hustle and bustle of the main island. The adult only pool was fantastic with a view across to St Mark’s! The staff were exceptional from Vincenza at reception to Teresa in the breakfast area. Nothing was too much trouble!

− The bathroom amenities, we had to ask for extra shower caps, rather than them being replaced. The fruit at the breakfast buffet was the same for 5 days( rockmelon and pineapple). Perhaps some watermelon would be nice as a change.

Das Zimmer war extrem schön. Das Essen am Dach war ausgezeichnet. Auch der Blick vom Dach nach Venedig ist einzigartig. Die Ruhe auf der Insel verschafft eine wohltuende Abwechslung zum Trubel in Venedig.

− Bei den hohen Anforderungen an ein Fünfsternehotel mit entsprechendem Preis ist festzuhalten, dass der Allgemeine Pool sehr lieblos gestaltet ist und die Anlage herum nicht top in Schuss gehalten wird. Negativ aufgefallen ist auch, dass der Pool am Dach offenbar keine ganz ausgezeichnete Wasserqualität hat, da er an einigen Stellen grün ist und Algen aufweist. Bei beiden Pools ist also deutlich Verbesserungsbedarf gegeben.

Esse hotel é espetacular ! Tudo nele é incrível. História, localização, serviço, time, quartos, restaurantes, piscinas... Quero voltar agora para lá ! Fomos em família de 4 (2 adultos e 2 crianças). as acomodações são ótimas, tamanho dos quartos, banheiro. a academia poderia ser um pouco maior e melhor equipada. mas atende a necessidade. o barco rumo a Veneza é rápido, confortável, e super charmoso. verdade que no verão de 40º graus poderia ter um ar condicionado. ajudaria.

− Tivemos uma ou outra situação de erro de pedido no restaurante Cucina, andar térreo, no jantar. Mas sinceramente nada que pudesse prejudicar a estadia ou mesmo a excelente acomodação que é !

De ligging is top! Zeker met kids kan je naar de stad en er weer uit.

− De family pool is echt mega klein en is ver weg gestopt. Gezien de oppervlakte van het hotel is het een grap.

A Wonderful Stay with Just One Small Area for Improvement

We had a fantastic stay at the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious escape in Venice. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional. Check-in was warm, attentive and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome. We stayed in a beautiful Junior Suite, which was spacious, stylish and immaculately presented. We did have one minor maintenance issue with the bath, which wasn’t running properly. However, the team responded quickly and had it resolved within a few hours. We were really impressed with how efficiently it was handled. The attention to detail across the hotel was evident, and the food was consistently excellent. Yes, it’s an expensive hotel, but in our opinion, it’s worth paying for the overall experience, service and surroundings. Do get a cocktail from the lobby bar - they are fabulous! The only aspect that let the hotel down slightly was the rooftop infinity pool. While the views are stunning, the pool itself appeared not to have had a thorough clean for quite some time. The infinity edge wasn’t operating and looked as though it hadn’t been working for a while, with visible lines of algae in places. There was also no dedicated poolside service, which we’d expected at a hotel of this standard, although staff did bring drinks to the sun loungers. Those points aside, this is a truly excellent resort with outstanding staff, beautiful accommodation and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We’d definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

Such a fun location on the island - shuttle ferry to Venice really gives the feel of just how water based everything is The breakfast - amazing. The butter - wow! The staff are lovely. The service can be slow - but that’s Italy ! The view from the rooftop pool and restaurant/ bar is exceptional. Highly recommend.
