Boy do I have a list: 1. The lobby was not air conditioned. With the air being so hot it smelled like an old wet rag under granny’s wet moist moth ball sink cabinet. 2. The check in was efficient as it was handled like 1982. Was asked for a deposit of 300 Baht and she handed change from her makeup bag. Not sure if we will get our deposit returned. She handed us an actual silver door key with a label maker room number on it 3. There is no door on the mixed women/men restroom in the lobby. The bathroom was just as confused as we are. 4. The elevator is the size of a bathroom stall and I’m willing to wager someone has done their business in it, not cooled and the lights flickered when it began, haunted or malfunctioning, we will be taking the stairs. 5. ALL of the furniture had water damage. It was very decayed. There was a pair of flip flops in the closet and I firmly believe it was left behind from previous guess leaving this place so fast. 6. The refrigerator is stocked with beer but no indication of whether it was free. Seemed like a trap. Which leads to the next issue, no phone to call down to ask for guidance. 7. Bathroom had mold up and down shower curtain, up and down wall. I say mold lightly, bc it may be forensic dust residue.Oddly, has facial tissue but no toilet paper. The tissue box formerly identified as leather but is in an identity crisis and thinks it is vintage marble. How does one wear out a tissue box? Any write the rest not enough characters. DO NOT

The tissue box formerly identified as leather but is in an identity crisis and thinks it is vintage marble. How does one wear out a tissue box? An actual sliding window in the shower to the bedroom where I suppose one could order Happy Meal from the king size bed to the shower. 8. The bed; oh the bed. The fitted sheet was so worn you could see the 1962 striped mattress through it. No top sheet and the bed feels like cardboard with a waterproof mattress topper. It was so thin, we lifted the blanket to make sure there was an actual sheet and it was full of holes. Too many to count. 9. Light on night stand had electric cord wrapped around lamp post and not plugged in. Mmmm 10. The street is one car length away from the entrance making the street sounds echo in the room. 11. TV was acceptable if you like watching news through a snowstorm. 12. Mini split air conditioners just made sounds to fool you I to believing there is actual ac 13. The worst part is every single review are fake. There is no way ANY one would call this a nice place. It feels like that motel Uncle Jimmy takes his side chic to and pays by the hour and returns the key in 22 minutes flat. From the stank, rank, hot nasty entry to the water well bucket elevator to the view of mold directly above the bed pretending to be a psychiatry blotch test, testing how long I will stay here. The reviews did not show the “distressed” furniture nor did we have decorative pillows as shown in advert. Value? Yes! comparing apples to apples to cell block C at Rikers without doing the crime. Do you mean bang bang pow for the buck? Clean? We slept on top of the covers. Comfort? Our bed was so hard that the only thing that squeaked were what I assume were mice. The pictures online catfished the heck out of me. I came to a hotel but a motel showed up with no makeup and raggedy clothes. This is a hard pass.

Affordable Stay, but Poor Service Communication

4.0

Overall, the hotel is suitable for those looking for a budget-friendly stay. However, there are several issues I would like to share from my experience: First Night: During check-in, the staff provided standard service but failed to inform me of any important guidelines or details about the stay, such as how to request water refills or use other services. They only mentioned a deposit of 100 THB per night, which had to be paid in cash. Fortunately, the staff suggested using a nearby ATM to withdraw cash. Second Night: When I needed drinking water late at night, I realized there was no phone in the room, so I had to go to the front desk. The staff told me that I needed to bring the empty water bottle to exchange it for a new one. Since the bottle was in my room, I had to go back upstairs to get it. I understood that it was late and there might have been only one staff member on duty, so I complied. However, this kind of service may not be convenient for customers, especially late at night. Third Day: On the final day, I didn’t allow housekeeping to clean my room as I was hardly there and only needed water refills. Around noon, I took the empty bottle downstairs to exchange for a new one and informed the staff that I’d pick up the water later as I was heading out for food. However, the staff told me I couldn’t leave the bottle at the front desk and that I had to leave it in front of my room instead. I explained that this was not mentioned during check-in, but the staff replied, “Other customers already know this.” This response made me feel uncomfortable and raised several questions: • Why do the staff assume all customers would automatically know this process? • Why didn’t the staff communicate this important information during check-in? Moreover, I felt that the staff lacked basic common sense to understand that I needed water immediately and couldn’t wait for housekeeping to deliver it later. Water refills are a basic service, and it should be easier to address customers’ needs promptly. To follow the staff’s instructions, I tried leaving the empty bottle outside my room, as they had suggested earlier. However, no new bottle was delivered to replace it. This left me very confused about the proper procedure for getting water, as the staff provided inconsistent and unclear information. Pros: • Affordable price • Conveniently located near an ATM Cons: • Lack of communication about basic services (e.g., water refills) during check-in • No phone in the room, making it inconvenient to request services • Inconsistent service for water refills, with unclear and conflicting information from the staff • Some staff responses made me feel unwelcome and dissatisfied Conclusion: This hotel may be suitable for budget-conscious travelers, but there is room for improvement in communication and customer service. Basic services like water refills should be more organized and clearly explained to customers, ensuring the process is straightforward and responsive to their needs.
