− Shame you cannot walk to a town etc from the hotel
Short stay but would stay again if in the area.
8.0What a fantastic place, we booked a night here to break up a trip from the South to the North of England. We ate a meal on arrival which was of a fantastic standard. There was a great selection of food and drinks to choose from. The room and facilities were great.
− We booked via booking.com as opposed to directly, which is often the case. We had to pay £35 per dog which bumped up the cost; it would be useful to update on booking.com with this information, an additional £70 for two relatively small dogs (2x 10kg) is a fair bit.

9.0Food was fantastic, and lovely staff. There were lovely little touches in the room such as the sloe gin and Cotswolds guide. I would recommend dining in the restaurant.
− The room was a bit small, there was no fan included which was tricky during a heatwave and there was just some practical elements of the room missing just as wall hooks, somewhere to hang a towel in the bathroom. But nothing that in anyway spoiled the visit.
