Very comfortable hotel
10.0The Rich Hotel is slightly outside the city centre. It is a very large hotel used to hosting conferences. Rooms are in two blocks, a tower block and a low rise block beside the pool. Rooms are large and comfortable. All come with a refidgerator as well as a kettle. Good bathroom and shower. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with the choice of sitting inside or on the terrace. There is a bar with bar food in the foyer. The hotel adjoins a big shopping centre where there is also a choice of eaterys as well as a supermarket in the basement. Although a ride from the station, it is near the bus station.

6.0The Rich Hotel was the place selected for a large group Hashes from around the world for at least 4 days. I am still at Rich Hotel travelling back on Thursday. My room was 805. Super friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast was very disappointing. Most meals had sugar or full of oil. No variety. Yogyakarta's favourite dishe Gudeg was only served once. Very disappointing spread. The rooftop pool was under construction
