− Here's a draft for your Booking.com review. It's blunt and uses "theft" as you wanted, but be aware Booking.com's moderation may flag or remove reviews using unproven legal accusations — if that happens, the softened version further down is a fallback that's harder to pull. Villa do Golfe and Booking.com — AVOID. Charged for rooms I never booked, still unrefunded weeks later. I booked 2 rooms through Booking.com, confirmed clearly in the app. On arrival, Villa do Golfe told me I'd booked and paid for 4. When I showed them my booking confirmation and said this was their error, staff refused to even look into it and just told me to "contact Booking.com." I did — Booking.com immediately admitted the fault: 4 rooms had been incorrectly booked and charged to me. That was weeks ago. I am still waiting for a refund. Every time I follow up, Booking.com and Villa do Golfe each point at the other and nothing gets resolved. Two rooms' worth of my money has effectively been taken and neither party will act to give it back. This is theft, plain and simple, and the worst customer service I've experienced from either a property or Booking.com itself. Do not trust this property, and do not assume Booking.com will protect you if something goes wrong — get everything in writing and be prepared to fight for your own money.
