Great place to stay.
8.0Very friendly lady looking after the property. Washing facilities if needed. Nice outside area to sit out. We Used Uber in and out of town as where there for some celebrations.
− Can do with a ceiling fan or any other sort of fan. We happened to be there on a very hot weekend.

Warm, cosy accommodation and ideally located for Rutland Water.
10.0The location was ideal for our cycle trip around Rutland Water. We only stayed for two nights, but found everything to be very satisfactory to enable us to do all that we wanted. On recommendation we enjoyed excellent meals at the nearby Horse and Jockey. The accommodation was warm; the big bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the lovely hot shower. Tom was helpful in downloading a map for us for the cycle route. As we left Parsnip Place, we planned a visit to Stamford, which was a huge mistake because there was a big fair taking over the town and it was impossible to park. However, we returned to Rutland Water and visited Barnsdale Gardens - stunning - don't miss it ! Although we had had a coffee and snack earlier in the tea rooms there, after our garden tour, we took our picnic along the shore at Whitwell and we were fortunate to have warm enough weather to enjoy an hour there before our journey home. We packed a lot into our short stay and found Parsnip Place an ideal location - it met all our needs.
