8.0Nice quirky old style pub room which was surprisingly large. Breakfast was excellent. 'Wet Room' did look like it could flood the room easily. maybe it won't but I used a towel to ensure it didn't.

10.0The Globe is a great pub/ bed and breakfast. The room we had was large and clean with a en-suite shower room. The breakfast was excellent and you can choose what you like from their cooked breakfast list the night before.The village of Buckfastleigh is very nice and you have the Abbey and moors on your doorstep. Great value.

10.0Jane the host was lovely and she was the cook as well and food was delicious the inn is over 150years old so you will have to take that into account but we had a great stay and would recommend

Very basic but ok for price.
6.0We liked: bed was comfy, good central location, didn’t experience any noise issues either from outside or other guests, large fan provided welcome relief in hot weather, tray of teas / coffees with biscuits was provided, TV was small but adequate We didn’t like: bathroom was dirty (loo hadn’t been flushed and there was tissue in the bin on arrival), no hand soap in the bathroom (nor shower gel), no milk for hot drinks - there’s a fridge on the landing which supposedly contains milk portions but this was empty, only one hand towel provided for two guests, pub was closed when we returned from a night out at 22:45 on a Friday so no nightcap!, no breakfast available - sign on door says breakfast is 8-9am but the pub was locked when we arrived tried to go down at 8:45. Presume pre booking is therefore essential.
