10.0This is where I always stay when I visit Lawrence. I have been saying here for years (decades?). It is consistently a good and comfortable place to stay. Clean, colorful rooms, cotton sheets comfortable beds, good Lawrence location on 6th street, friendly host. I always enjoyed chatting with the owner who was brimming with positivity.... The nephew has now taken over and is equally pleasant. Makes for a good overall experience.
Great price for the location. Close to I70 / the KS turnpike.
8.0The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was better than I expected. It had a full size refrigerator, a microwave and a good quality TV. It was across the street from a large grocery store.
− The parking lot has seen better days It is an older motel with the doors that open to the outside. The office didn't always have someone available. There was a number to call but no one answered.
