A Lovely Place on Santa Cruz
10.0This place is very charming and worth the extra walk from downtown. Roberto is was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived he pulled out a map and gave us an overview of activities on the island. He also helped us arrange a taxi ride when we needed to leave. We would happily stay here again. The AC worked well and the beds were comfy.
− The doors and window's don't seal the best, so we had a few bugs in the room (a handful of ants and such). There weren't many insects and this didn't bother us as the place is natural. I imagine this could bother some people however.

10.0The accomodation, location amd most of all the people who run it. Gianna and her family are so lovely. Nothing is too much for her. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

9.0This is a nice place, well looked after and built by the host himself. The family lives on the premises and serve a good breakfast. Quiet neighborhood, a bit further from town, but walkable. Our room was perfect, we took one with a large double bed and a modern and cosy decoration near the pool.

− Lamentablemente nuestra experiencia no fue la mejor. La propietaria nos resultó bastante invasiva, ella y su numerosa familia vive en el mismo lugar, justo frente a la puerta de nuestra habitación, por lo que se escuchaba todo y sentimos muy poca privacidad. La habitación además es muy chica y la cama es demasiado pequeña para dos personas (y eso que somos muy delgados) Dos de las tres noches que arrendamos no tuvimos agua caliente y luego de varias excusas la dueña nos compenso con un 7% del valor... El desayuno se sirve tarde, incluso habiendo avisado que teníamos un tour temprano. Realmente lamentamos haber escogido este lugar para nuestros últimos días en Galápagos

− Only reason to give a 9 is that the fire alarm rang 3 times the first night. Owner tried to fix it but it rang 6 times the following night... Naturally this disturbed our sleep a lot.

Please be aware that Galapagos is conformed by different islands; in this case you are arriving to to Santa Cruz Island. Once you arrive to Seymour Airport in Baltra Island, please take a public bus to Baltra Ferry Terminal where you should take a ferry to Santa Cruz Ferry Terminal. Then, take a bus or a taxi to Puerto Ayora. Give the driver the property's name and directions in order to arrive easily. This whole trip take approximately 40 minutes. To move between islands you can take a boat or plane; please check with your hotel the different schedules.
Guests are kindly notified of the fact that Galapagos has a tropical weather and ecosystem. Therefore and especially being part of the National Park, there is a diversity of bugs and animal species, like nonpoisonous spiders, lizards, bees, and ants. The property takes efforts to exterminate bees and ants, but does not intent to kill the spiders and lizards, as they are considered harmless and live in their own habitat.
Please note that breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:30 am.
