− Room was smelly and dirty. I was moved to another room, staff allowed another guest to attempt to discuss the need to move rooms to me, and continued to discuss the matter with staff. Noisy

− Lage an der Hauptstraße. Club der von den Studenten des Colleges am WE bis 02:00h frequentiert wird, liegt direkt nebenan, Geräuschkulisse entsprechend. Mobiliar aus den 60igern völlig abgerockt. Bad modernisiert, leider von Heimwerkern: steht nach dem Duschen trotz Duschwand zu 25% unter Wasser. Insgesamt sind dafür selbst € 110,- noch deutlich Zuviel .

Motels were full in town, so they accommodated us by giving us a room that didn't have renovations completed. Bed and pillows very comfortable.

− We booked with Booking.com before we arrived, then when we got there, we were told there wasn't a room due to renovations. Then as we were leaving, staff came out and told us they would give us a room, if we would take one under renovation. Then they up charged us $30+ dollars from the Booking.com price. The advertising out front of motel didn't tell you they were under going renovation and it still said Free Breakfast which they didn't have. I had stayed at this motel before, so was very disappointed,

I loved the kitchenette, the bed was very comfortable though when I stripped it at the end of my stay there was stains on the pillows so new pillows would be a huge investment. The room had been recently updated, but the contractor that was used did not clean up the caulking around the edges of the tiles, fixtures and cabinets. There was paint speckles on the sink and bathroom cabinet as well as drywall dust left behind. Not something that was the property owners fault at all, but definitely something that could be cleaned up by a hired professional. All in all the room was exceptional. Just some minor details that I noticed on my stay!

The staff was very kind.

− The security of the room was very lacking. I wedged 2 chairs between the door and a wall. Issues with plumbing, water, stinky water, coming up from shower drain. Toilet was gurgling. This all before we had used the bathroom. Furniture was questionable to sit in. Weird stains and mildew like growth on the seat. Changing rooms at 10 PM was interesting. Especially when checking in I was told there were not any other rooms. The price for the room was altered by clerk and was charged almost 75 dollars more than what was quoted on app. The gentleman was kind enough to meet us in the middle. Still paying 35 dollars more than what was expected. Honestly felt we were in a Hostel situation. Kind of creepy! I've been in some places, this one took the cake! One more funny thing. I was searching for ice for our evening cocktail. I went to the front office with the ice bucket and asked the location of the ice machine. The kind gentleman took my bucket and disappeared for a few moments. While he was gone. I could hear the ice hitting the bucket. Didn't hear a machine dispensing the ice. I'm almost certain he gave us 12 ice cubes out of a freezer ice tray. 🤣🤣 luckily there is a faithful Walmart down the road. You can buy a small bag of ice for a 2 bucks. Just a helpful tip.
