Exceptional Staff they went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Nestled in the nature, beautiful property

− Rooms do not have blackout curtains, property lights are on the whole night and there is a lot of light in the bedrooms.Pillows are very hard and bulky,Breakfast is repetitive.

For somewhere to escape the maddening crowd and feel a connection with nature it is hard to imagine a better place. Love

Absolutely stunning. Unlike any other place we have stayed. By the end of our stay even our teenage daughters were loving it. A massive shout out to the staff. It’s sounds cliched but the staff were polite, friendly and went beyond to make us feel welcomed and looked after. After stying here I completely understand why it is rated so highly - entirely deserved. Definitely the most unique place we have ever stayed.

Peaceful, family-friendly, vegetarian Ubud Living in nature

Being Sattvaa is not your usual hotel. It feels like you are staying in your own villa in Ubud. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They go out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Subba and Renuka - the owners - literally play hosts during your stay. The restaurant is in a covered open area where you can dine in nature. They have a completely vegetarian menu with vegan options. The food is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The Spa overlooks the jungle - make sure you don't miss it. The location is 10-12 mins from Ubud main market and you can easily commute with Grab or request a full day cab from the reception.

− Pillows in the room can be thinner.

The spacious campus is in a quite location. The ambience created is relaxing. The Rooms are well appointed and spacious. We had the one with a private pool. Was very refreshing to take a dip post the days activities. The breakfast is nice and simple. The buffet and the main course were good, both in taste and quantity. The staff is very polite and helpful. Arranged for 2 days car for sight seeing which was very useful. The complimentary car shuttle to Ubud main market is helpful. In all these, they have kept an eye on waste. Main course in the breakfast to be ordered earlier and not just kept as part of the buffet (ends up with a lot of waste), have to tell prior for the shuttle to Ubud is nice. Small steps to reduce waste

− Just takes a bit of time reaching it from the airport ( traffic ). But worth it.

Excellent stay. Beautiful location and property. Personalised attention to every requirement. The pool was dreamy with a backdrop of the wilderness. Availability of vegetarian and vegan food, including South Indian meals was a wonderful surprise. Renuka and Subba the founders were very friendly and generous. The best thing was their invite to attend the local temple festival. What a rare experience it was! The staff are very kind, I do recollect interactions with Mona and Soni rather well. The spa team is also proficient, a rather relaxing overall stay, and made Bali very memorable.

− The sole complaint is that the wooden floors had a polish that made them rather slippery. Even the chairs in room kept slipping unless supported by a wall.

An ulitmate place to be

I could stay at Being Sattvaa for 10 wonderfull days, that I'll keep in best memory forever. I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere, the peace and quietness of this place, and gratefully received a very personal service in any sense. The veggie food was varied, presented in an interesting way and widely very tasty. The yoga teachers were also all really good, and I enjoyed the diversity of their approaches. I definitely can't praise enough the entire super friendly and always helpfull stuff, the very well maintained area, the wonderfull architecture - e.g. the super Yoga Space - andandand. Don't miss check it out. A wonderfully peaceful and unpretentious island in the wider area surrounding the utterly overcrowded Ubud. Thanks again to the entire Team, Christian Spork (Germany)
