Quiet, peaceful area, cozy cabin / cottage
10.0My wife Sheri and I, traveled on vacation together in Sept. from Miami, FL. to Iceland to take a break away from the heat and humidity in Miami to explore Iceland country during Autumn/Winter season. We enjoyed our short stay at the Hellisholar Cottages. My wife really enjoyed the cold weather. We got Free parking included in our stay, Free wifi, hot and cold water, clean room, in a very quiet and peaceful area too.

6.0I didn’t expect much staying in our rustic cabin the countryside. But for what they charge – the cabin really was not in great shape. There was broken furniture, the kitchenette barely had any silverware. Views are amazing, Location is great, the people are nice. But at least a nice well maintained cabin would be nice.
Great place for our first night in Iceland!
10.0This was our first night in Iceland. We checked in late, however the front desk lady was super friendly and accommodating. We drove up to our cabin and it was a perfect start to our trip. Very rustic and quant. The three of us comfortably slept in a bed each. Would recommend!
