Simple Abode with a View
8.0Checking in and out was a breeze, without any formalities, ... very nice. The room was simple, no frills, but all fine; shower is connected to a boiler, thus of limited capacity at any one time. The breakfast was ok, not great, but pretty similar to the three other places I have stayed at while in Iceland, including two 4-star hotels. The staff was very friendly. When the cloud cover lifts, there is a clear view to the famous namesake volcano in the distance.
