Basic but overpriced hotel in great location.

The hotel is close to a fantastic beach. The staff is very nice, service oriented and tries to help in any way they can. The breakfast was nice and although it could have been more varied, they had on offer a different homemade pie every day. The room and the rest of the hotel was always clean. We could park the car right outside our room. We requested a late check out and the staff was very accommodating about it.

− The hotel is “tired”. The photos we had seen did not show what we finally got, which was a room with 20 year old furniture and an uncomfortable mattress. The room did not have blinds or blackout curtains, which meant that we woke up at 06:30 because of the light. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, she asked that we get blackout curtains in our room, but they only found one to install. It did help, but still… I don’t want to go on holidays and wake up because of the light. There was also no mosquito screen at the door, and while they did have a device with a mosquito repelling liquid in the room, we still got bitten and we also had lots of flies that were very annoying. Finally, our room had a view to the back of the hotel, to empty fields and our balcony was right in front of the electricity generator of the hotel, which made a lot of noise every time it was functioning - which was every evening around 8, for about 30 minutes, or sometimes more. If we had paid 80 euros for this, we wouldn’t be complaining. But we paid 168 euros per night, more than what we have paid in the recent past for 5 star hotels. And when we pay that kind of money we expect in return a lot more than what we got.

Emplacement ideal à 2 pas de la plage. Vue sur la mer depuis le balcon de la chambre. Chambre spacieuse.

− Petit déjeuner un peu décevant quand on a l'habitude des bon petits plats grecs.

Good location across the road from beach.

− No block out curtains in bedroom. The room was very light from early in morning. Uncomfortable beds. No one exhaust fan in bathroom Breakfast was very average Family living directly below our room that was noisy.

La posizione è fantastica, di fronte alla spiaggia, ma non troppo in strada, vicino alla fermata del bus e a tanti bei ristorantini. Lo staff è sempre molto gentile e la colazione davvero super, varia e abbondante. La piscina del vicino hotel, che si poteva usare, veramente grande e ben servita. Consigliatissimo

− Poche stoviglie in cucina, ma ci siamo arrangiati.

Can’t wait to go back.

Everything. Stunning location. Plaka beach is beautiful with loads of great beach bars and restaurants. The sea is crystal clear. The room was lovely, the pool was perfect - no fighting over sun beds! The staff were so friendly and helpful.
