10.0I stayed at the Hotel Gunter and it was lovely. Becky at the desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. If you're looking for a generic hotel experience then stick with a chain; if you want very affordable, unique, historic, quirky and something to remember, go to the Gunter. It was very quiet while I was there. Don't forget to check out the museum in the basement and experience relaxing on the front balconies, which are available to all visitors and offer views of downtown Frostburg. There are lots of nice decorative details still intact - keep in mind the hotel was built in 1897!

10.0Clean comfortable room. Staff was amazing. Rooms are small, but quaint and cozy. The only thing it needed was a full length mirror in bedroom area. Lots of history here. We would stay again.

10.0Great stay! Historic hotel with a lot of charm. The front desk lady was super friendly and very informative. The room was very clean, ac worked well, and the bed was super comfortable. If I'm in the area again, ill definitely stay!
