10.0👍
Overnight in Herefordshire
10.0A very comfortable bed and the room had everything needed for a short stay. Staff were great and very helpful. Parking was right next to the hotel and off-road. Breakfast had great choices and the poached eggs were just right.

10.0Great place to stay. Made to feel very welcome from first moment. Nice pub, everything you want in the room and really great hosts that made you feel valued. Definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.

10.0Loved our stay here! Such a beautiful location and friendly staff! The staff here went above and beyond as they allowed me to use their bar to film an audition. So grateful to them!! Still haven’t heard anything from my audition though haha but promised to call if I got it. Such a beautiful place and had a great sleep.
Good for an overnight stay
8.0We were in Room 3, a twin comfort room. The beds were at right angles to each other as there wasn't sufficient room to put them next to each other in the usual way. The en-suite shower room was surprisingly spacious and in some ways looked nicely done, though the wash basin taps were wonky and the towel rail had fallen off. The toilet was a macerator sort. Shower was electric and had moments of varying from scalding hot to cold, presumably depending on whether others were also drawing on the water, but generally was good. The cooked breakfast was very nice. We checked in at 2 pm and I then went to have a lie down. My husband thought he would read in the lounge, but the whole pub shut between 3 pm and 5.30 pm I think and so he was not able to. Fortunately, the weather was good so he sat outside in the pleasant garden. It was a useful location for us, and we had had a good price via Hotels.com, so we were satisfied.
