Can't wait to go back!

Great resort. The staff is wonderful, professional and helpful. Matthew and AJ were exceptional, though all the staff were great. The resort is within walking distance of restaurants, trails, parks. We were there in the summer so the Town of Avon has concerts at Nottingham Park(within walking distance) on Sunday and Wednesdays. The Town also has free shuttles to Beaver Creek Village for more more shopping and restaurants. The 2 bedroom unit is large, and well stocked, and very clean.

Always feels like home when we’re there.

Very relaxing. The young lady with blonde curly hair made our experience more memorable. She made feel like we were vip’s. She always greeted us no matter what the other staff beside the gentleman in the morning the other staff wouldn’t even acknowledge us. The valet guys were top tier amazing.

Beautiful resort, bad time of year to go

10.0

Just got home from a 5 night stay at Club Wyndham in Avon. Bummer for us was it was unusually cold for this time of year (lows in low 30's with some snow flurries, high in 40's - 50's). Great thing was the resort and suite were beautiful. Be warned - the only resort parking is valet parking at $45/night, although as Wyndham owners, and maybe because this is the slow time of year (they were only about 1/3 full) we got it for $35/night. There is some free street parking in the late spring/summer, but it is only for daytime parking so can't park on street over night. I will say the valets were all very nice and prompt. We had a 2 bedroom Presidential unit (1,267 sq ft) on the end of the building (Unit 313) so had extra windows with great views. The LR was huge with gas fireplace that emitted heat and plenty of seating. Kitchen was large with huge island, oven, stove top, microwave, dishwasher, pod coffee maker, and all the plates, cups, bowls, serving utensils etc you would need. Master bedroom with king bed was huge with windows on 2 sides (somehow I didn't take a photo) and huge bathroom with walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. Second bedroom had 2 queens and bathroom had shower tub combo. Unit had it's own laundry room with full size wash and dryer. We checked in on a Sunday, and neither that day or Monday was there a concierge on duty. Front desk people were able to give a copy of the bus map but no area information or maps available. They do have a QR code you can scan to get information. There was hardly anyone around the town or in Vail as this is the slow season - no more skiing but not yet summer. In fact many shops and restaurants in Vail and Beaver Creek weren't even open and no ski lifts were running. There is great free bus system within the town of Avon and a separate free bus system that connects Avon to Vail and Edwards that we used. We did enjoy the huge, unique hot tube a couple of times. Just be aware, there are multiple raised drains in the hot tub that you don't see when the bubbles are going, so I suggest you look to see where they are before you turn on the bubbles or the waterfall as I twice banged my foot. They do have towels in the hot tube area so you don't have to bring your own from your room. Would definitely visit here again, but maybe a different time of year.

A great Spring triup

10.0

This was our first trip to Colorado and the staff at the Wyndham at Avon helped to make it very special. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and everyone on staff there helped to make it special. Our only disappointment was that they were doing a major renovation to the hot tub and water fall and we were not able to enjoy it.

Great Resort for Family Ski Vacation

10.0

We stayed here for a week for a family ski vacation. I was nervous before check-in because we got such a great deal (RCI Extra Vacation for not even 1/3 the cost I thought it should have been.) We pulled up to valet and checked in so smoothly I still was waiting for something to be seriously wrong. Kids had yummy free hot chocolate in lobby and were thrilled. We got to our room quickly and we were impressed by how spacious, clean, stocked and nice the unit was. We had a 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms. King in master and 2 queens in 2nd bedroom and plenty of closet and dresser space. We did use the pull put couch in living room as well. Nice master shower! I was happy to see hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion were provided in both bathrooms. For coffee lovers, they have K cup and pot available. We ate a lot in the room and had everything needed. The hot tub is HUGE and every time we went it was empty. They have ski and boot storage downstairs which was very nice. Pool table and fooseball table on 1st floor. Gym as well but we didn't go in. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, from desk personnel, valet to ski room! The free busses just outside were great for getting around. We took the express shuttle to and from Vail twice. Beaver Creek is walking distance, less than 5 min to gondola from lobby. My kids as young as 10 did it fine carrying all their ski gear. We even came home for lunch twice to save $ and relax. Several good restaurants walking distance from resort. We had a great vacation and no complaints! There are fees for parking daily, but it was worth it and every time we called for car it was ready in 3 min. We would love to return some time and recommend!
