Perfect spot when visiting Woodstock!

We wish hotel had better communicated the tornado damage and that someone had been onsite to help address issues.
4.0Great location and interesting concept as a self check in hotel with friendly amenities
− The hotel had just been hit by a tornado, and we were guests two nights later and were not notified that over half the rooms were damaged. There was debris, work crews, and confused guests showing up. When we contacted the self check in number, they were unconcerned. Our room had insect issues, and though newly remodeled, the quality of the hardware was not good: hard to flush toilet handle, slippery tub bottom, door handle on frig falling off…..with no one on site, these issues are not easily handled. We stayed 2 nights and contacted them about our dissatisfaction: the owners decided not to give us a discounted rate for our dissatisfaction. Granted, the tornado was unexpected and the building will be mended eventually, but meanwhile, current guests should be a priority. We paid top dollar for a non top- dollar experience.
