Good Vibes from an Angel
8.0Kendra was our server, she was great! Lovely atmosphere and vibes.
Great Hotel.
10.0I liked this hotel a lot. It’s in a great location, close to many of Denver’s main attractions. Ubers were plentiful and it’s very close to public transportation. There were many incredible restaurants and coffee houses close by. The staff were beyond gracious, friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to Marisol, who kept my room clean and stocked with water. I would definitely stay here again.
Incredibly disappointing hotel
2.0Reviewing this hotel because many of the existing reviews are misleading. This is the biggest hotel disappointment we have encountered in months of travel. It is a marginally maintained hotel staffed by people unfamiliar with hospitality and associated with an unimpressive restaurant/bar. Room: 2/5 - The room is large but it’s basically furnished with wires/dents/stains on full display. The bathroom has 2 sinks but water only trickles from one then runs all over the counter. The towel bar and toilet paper holder are falling out of the wall. The robe was warm and fluffy, but only one provided for 2 people. The bed is just bad, with divots in the mattress from people who have stayed before…like one might expect in a 2-star highway inn. Staff: 1/5 - The friendliest person was the gentleman cleaning the floors. All front desk staff on the phone while we and others waited to check in. We also waited for some time at the bar, which was staffed by only one person when at least 2 were needed. Our room was changed after check-in and the reason given was “dunno, maybe a maintenance issue.” And restaurant staff literally sighed when I asked to use my breakfast vouchers. Then we were charged twice for drinks. The general vibe is that staff is doing us a favor by allowing us to stay here. Restaurant: 1/5 - “Fire” is a miss. Had dinner, drinks and breakfast…all meh. Breakfast parfait included blueberry stems and the rest was unremarkable. Dinner salad was worse - including canned tangerine segments and a lump of hard raisins. Housekeeping: 3/5 - Room was clean enough, but neighbors’ food and trash remained outside their doors for a full day. On the bright side, the gym is nice.
The Art of Flopping
2.0Man....swing a not just a miss...but downright a flop. Stayed at the Art Hotel in early 2026. I don't know know how to put it other than I have to assume this was an all around poor showing for the hotel. I've talked to friends who have stayed there and enjoyed it and so I want my experience to be a one-off miss but man...it was bad. The rooms themselves were fine. Although with 100% honesty...if I had been in a three month old Holiday Inn Express I would not have been able to differentiate between the two. White furniture (yes....I get that the "art" aesthetic is minimalist but you do not have original art in the room that you can "appreciate" so it's like sitting in a gallery....that hasn't opened yet. Linens were clean and crisp. But again...the rooms are really sparse and while this is being presented as intentional it's really just a Holiday Inn with some installations in the hallway. The real reason for the low rating....the restaurant was a disaster. No walk-ins for dinner which I'll accept was bad on me for not making a reservation, so be it. Room service was...inedible. Hair in three out of four entrees. Straight Sysco food. Sorry but man...it was bad. Breakfast was actually worse. Pancakes that were straight up raw batter (after a 50 minute wait). A breakfast sandwich that made me queasy to look at (dripping with oil/grease) just a mess. I know that I was not the only one who was put off with breakfast five other tables sent things back or had things taken off of tabs for being inedible/not delivered. Just a really bad experience. The hotel might be fine...and I'd like to think that my experience was a one-off but man....that was a genuinely bad experience, absolutely not up to the standard.
