4.0We didn’t park in the right spot which seemed to cause an issue. It wasn’t super clear on where to park. No side walks or luggage assistance, had to drag your suitcase over all the leaves. Owner wouldn’t shake my man’s hand only offered a fist bump, if germs were a problem maybe the welcome packet should be laminated for repeated use. Rooms were small and only had a hook and eye latch for security. There was absolutely no phone service. Barely worked with the WiFi. Bathroom is crazy small, not safety on shower floor and almost fell. Door was broken and didn’t work well either. We run a trucking company and couldn’t reach our drivers. Walking shakes the whole house and knock knacks on the wall, bed makes lots of noise just rolling over. For sale/sold sign not disclosed. Left the next morning without speaking to the owner (he’s got cameras all over so he seen us leave which is not an issue) texted us very rudely about leaving. Explained our phones didn’t work and we didn’t feel secure. Asked if we could get part of our money back since we only stayed one night and not the 5 he said no and won’t budge. Would not recommend unless you’re trying to hide out. Wish I would have researched it more or they would have been more forth coming on the phone service and how far off the way it was. Not for everyone and not for folks trying to conduct business while having a vacation.

10.0The property was a little off the road but had a cetain charm about it...we pulled onto a narrow farm road and had a short ride past a few bales of haÿ, horses out to pasture, and untouched greenery; we ended up at an older carefully kept getaway. The view of the mountains and quite surrounding caught our attention right away and our hosts extended a warm welcome at the ring of a bell. We think most people will adore the hospitality, outstanding breakfast, and solitude of this unique bed and breakfast close to all the attractions of Hiawassee Ga. Give it a try!
