9.0This is the second year staying in the Kaleshen Hotel and it is a great little hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast isn't the most comprehensive but sets you up nicely for a day out hiking. The pool, the only one in El Chalten (I believe), is a very, very welcome addition especially after days in the mountains hiking and camping.

7.0Convenient having breakfast given that you are up early for some of the hikes in the area. The breakfast was repetative self-serve style, but ample and adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful in providing advice. Rooms and facility were clean. Location is great for accessing trailhead and restaurants, groceries etc. We used the pool and sauna.
− The knob to adjust the heater/radiator in our room was broken, so the room was incredibly and uncomfortably hot. We were on the main floor so couldn't really leave the windows open at night or when we were out. We did ask for it to be fixed but front desk staff were kept busy and didn't make it down to us.
